Spain Retreat 2025

Move, Play, (re)Connect Retreat

Spain, El Chorro - 10th - 16th September, 2025

6 nights / 7 days (Wednesday to Tuesday)

Hey you! We’re doing this again! Read on, we think you’ll want to join us!

We’ve got something truly special to share with you! We will be hosting the Move, Play, (re)Connect Retreat from the 10th to the 16th of September at the incredible Olive Branch in El Chorro, southern Spain. Last year’s retreat was a great success—we hiked, climbed, did yoga, learned handstands, and explored a lot of floor movement. This year, we’re excited to announce that there will be even more yoga and movement sessions with Dani!

We’ve added an extra day, making it a full 7 days of adventure and connection. This year Dani will be co-hosting with me, and together we have prepared an unforgettable experience just for you.

Picture this: stunning mountains, beautiful lakes, and the most breathtaking sunsets you’ve ever seen. The Olive Branch is right in the heart of this natural beauty, and whether you stay in a cosy bunkhouse or a comfy ensuite room, you’ll have a view that will leave you in awe. The surroundings are absolutely magical and dreamlike.

This retreat is all about exploring what our bodies are capable of, embracing our limits, appreciating our abilities, and getting in touch with ourselves while hanging out with like-minded folks.

We’ve teamed up once again with Emma to cook us nourishing vegan meals (with optional locally sourced eggs on the menu for those who are keen). The food she makes is out of this world. Trust us, even if you’re not vegan, you’ll get plenty of protein and the meals are absolutely delicious.

And get this – we’ll have an outdoor swimming pool to chill in, an indoor yoga shala, an outdoor bouldering wall for some climbing fun, and a training area filled with cool equipment like pull-up bars, gymnastics rings, and even a slackline. It’s like having our very own adventure playground! Plus, we can relax in hammocks strung between ancient olive trees. How awesome is that? We can’t wait for you to join us!
At this retreat, it’s all about enjoying the simple things in life. Last year, participants absolutely loved the retreat and all the activities we offered, and we can’t wait to bring that energy back!

We’re excited to announce that we’ve hired instructors to take us on a via ferrata, allowing us to safely scramble and climb the mountain rock while attached to a harness.

We’ll spend plenty of time outdoors, get our bodies moving, eat yummy food, meet awesome people, soak up the sunshine, and stargaze at night. It’s a recipe for pure joy and recharging our minds and bodies.

The retreat includes all kinds of nourishing activities like an intro to rock climbing, via ferrata, daily movement workshops, yoga classes, and even the famous Caminito del Rey hike. But don’t worry, you can do as much or as little as you want – we encourage taking extra quiet time for yourself too. It’s all about making you feel like you can recharge while gently pushing you out of your comfort zone to learn and experience new activities! In your spare time, you can also chill on the sofas in communal areas or enjoy board games, pool and darts.

This isn’t your typical pampering spa day retreat. It’s about being active, feeling empowered, and having an amazing adventure filled with fun and excitement. You will leave feeling refreshed, restored, and reconnected with your body.

All levels of fitness and ability are equally welcome – everything we teach is scalable, and you can dip in and out of activities whenever you like. With years of experience working with individuals with chronic fatigue, disabilities, and learning difficulties, our aim is always to help everyone feel welcome and empowered to move their bodies.

So, what do you say? Check the flights, drop us a line at kubajurszacoaching@gmail.com or hit the WhatsApp button on this page if you have any questions, and get booking before we run out of spaces! We can’t wait to meet you in El Chorro for the Move, Play, (re)Connect Retreat! Oh, boy! It will be so much fun!

Kuba

Kuba will be one of the hosts for this retreat and will run some of the workshops! He is super excited to be part of this experience because he believes it’s essential for people to nurture themselves through physical activity and embodied practices. Kuba is a firm believer in the power of community, nature, play, and physicality to improve both physical and mental health.

His training background is in parkour/freerunning, which is how he began his coaching and teaching journey over a decade ago. These days, Kuba explores a variety of movement forms such as climbing, slacklining, dancing, juggling, acrobatics, and anything new that he finds fun to explore and learn. Through his movement coaching business, he teaches handstands, floorwork, soft acrobatics, calisthenics, and helps people improve their strength and mobility with a sustainable, minimalistic training approach. However, what Kuba truly focuses on when working with clients is helping them find more joy in physical activities that are meaningful to them. At the core of his work are health, longevity, physical empowerment, and helping individuals connect to what is important and meaningful to them.

Based in Southampton, UK, Kuba teaches on a 1:1 basis and runs weekly classes as well as weekend handstand and movement workshops across southern England.

Kuba holds a BSc degree in Applied Sport Science, is a qualified personal trainer, and a soft tissue therapist. He has also attended various courses in counseling and Non-Violent Communication and is passionate about helping people improve their mental health by reconnecting with their bodies and needs.

Dani

Dani will be one of the hosts for this retreat and will lead some of the workshops! She is deeply passionate about movement as a way for people to tap into their playful, creative states and connect more deeply with themselves. She believes movement is not just about physical health but a powerful tool for self-expression, exploration, and joy.

With a background in theatre and dance, Dani’s journey into yoga was a natural progression of her love for celebrating our shared humanity and deepening our connection to ourselves through storytelling, movement, and dance. Over the years, she has cultivated a teaching style that encourages intuitive movement, playfulness, and curiosity – both on and off the mat. She invites her students to explore new ways of moving, break out of habitual patterns, and develop a deeper sense of body awareness.

Dani teaches a variety of classes, workshops, and retreats, blending yoga with elements of dance, somatics, and breathwork. Her approach is fluid, creative, and rooted in the belief that movement should feel true to you, be nourishing, and inspire a sense of freedom. She loves helping people build confidence in their intuition, embrace their unique movement expression, and rediscover joy in the process.

Based in Southampton, Dani teaches group classes, private sessions, and movement workshops, creating spaces where people can explore, connect, and move with authenticity.

She holds certifications in yoga and movement disciplines and continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing studies in embodiment practices, mindfulness, and creative movement. Dani is passionate about using movement as a gateway to self-discovery, inner nourishment, and a deeper connection to life.
