Movement Based Practice
Inspired by Movement Culture and I do Portal and my own parkour practice, for about a decade, I’ve been teaching accessible ways of moving that are based on movement rather than traditional modern forms of exercise – exploring what your body is capable of, ways in which you can move and what you moves and skills you can learn.
Drawing from disciplines such as dance, breakdancing, capoeira, and circus arts I will show you ways of moving that are more playful, creative and fun. I will help you build your own movement practice that you’ll find challenging and playful.
You will learn different movement flows, animal locomotion patterns, floorwork and other skills that can be mixed with calisthenics, soft acrobatics and handstands.
